You Must Have Been A Beautiful Baby!

“You Must Have Been A Beautiful Baby” fundraising contest was a big success! There were seven participants who were brave enough to share their baby pictures with us, but we had many eager participants who wanted to guess.

We had three top winners who were able to match all the baby pictures to the current O&M Specialist. The top winners were Angela Sims: Mesa 51, Pat Lewis: Insights, Inc. and Tanni Anthony: CDE. All three winners’ names were then placed in the hat and the Grand Winner was Angela Sims!

The contest and donations grossed $125 towards the CAER Mini-Grants Program!

Special Thank You to Brent Batron: CCB, Cheryl Leidich: DPS, Nancy Cozart: Littleton, Charlotte Javier: JeffCo, Tanni Anthony: CDE, Pat Lewis: Insights, Inc., Barb Galgano: Cherry Creek and Melinda Carter: JeffCo for supplying such wonderful photos.

Thank you all for participating!

2013 International O&M Conference

With over 700+ attendees from all over the world the AER International Orientation & Mobility Conference in New Orleans Louisiana on December 11-14 was a huge success!

Meeting new and seeing old friends added to the camaraderie, interest and professionalism to entire event! Colorado was well represented with presenters, students and COMS from around our state. We would recommend this O&M conference for future attendees seasoned or just starting out.

Please see our attached session handouts. We hope that you will find them useful and informative.

Thank you to CAER for the mini-grant to assist us in making this adventure possible.
